Mrs. Helen Edge from Fort Cobb, Oklahoma has written to Senator Fred R. Harris requesting a patent-in-fee for her land allotment. The Bureau of Indian Affairs rejected her initial application, citing her inability to manage her affairs without supervision. Senator Harris has forwarded her request for reconsideration, and a full report is being prepared by the Branch of Social Services. Mrs. Edge's case is currently under review for a possible appeal.
