The Department of the Army is holding a planning workshop on November 6, 1973, to present information on specific study projects in the Arkansas River Basin and solicit opinions from citizens and civic groups. The workshop will focus on navigation extension projects from Tulsa to Wichita and will be sponsored by the Fairfax Chamber of Commerce at the Fairfax Country Club in Oklahoma. All interested citizens are encouraged to attend and express their views.
