Mr. Schwabe received a letter from Mr. O'Connor regarding the Fair Employment Practice Act (H.R. 2232). Schwabe stated that he does not support the bill and will vote against it if brought before Congress. O'Connor expressed concerns about the negative impact the bill would have on Oklahoma's economy and requested Schwabe's views on the legislation. Schwabe agreed that the bill would have detrimental effects and stated that they should work together to defeat it.
