1946 Correspondence Regarding the Senate Filibuster on the F.E.P.C., 1946-02-13

The letter dated February 13, 1946 from George B. Schwabe, M.C. to Mr. Charles N. Simon, Attorney in Tulsa, Oklahoma discusses the Senate filibuster on the F.E.P.C. bill. Schwabe mentions that the bill has not been acted on in the House and provides information on how the Oklahoma Delegation voted on the measure. Schwabe offers to send a copy of the Congressional Record showing the votes if the bill comes to the House for a vote. Schwabe ends the letter by offering further assistance and good wishes.
