Mrs. Vera P. Shrewsbury wrote a letter to Congressman George B. Schwabe endorsing H. R. 2497, a bill aimed at improving salary and wage administration in the Federal Service. The bill is pending in the House Committee on Civil Service and hearings are expected to start later in the month. Congressman Schwabe is currently out of Washington but the letter will be brought to his attention upon his return.
