Correspondence Regarding Bill H.R. 2497 in 1945, 1945-04-07
Mrs. Florence I. Odell wrote a letter to Congressman George B. Schwabe endorsing H.R. 2497. The Congressman's office acknowledged receipt of the letter and informed Mrs. Odell that the bill is pending in the House Committee on Civil Service and hearings are expected to start later in the month. The office also stated that they will bring Mrs. Odell's letter to the Congressman's attention upon his return to Washington.
