George B. Schwabe, a member of the House of Representatives, received a wire from Clyde A. King requesting his support for H.R. 3035, the federal employees salary act. Schwabe responded that he is inclined to support the measure and believes it will be passed with minor amendments. He also mentioned that he believes federal employees should receive a living wage, even if there are more employees than needed. Schwabe also expressed his appreciation for visitors from Tulsa and asked for his regards to be passed on to Mrs. King and mutual friends.
