Mr. Raymond Harvey, Secretary of the Bixby Chamber of Commerce, wrote to Congressman George B. Schwabe regarding the recommendation of the Social Security Board to provide aid for the blind. The letter expressed concern about potential losses for blind individuals if the recommendations were enacted into law. The letter included recommendations for necessary amendments to Title X of the Social Security Act to provide adequate aid to the blind. Congressman Schwabe assured that he would give the subject serious consideration when it comes before the House.
