Correspondence Between Dr. John Torrey and George B. Schwabe, M.C. Regarding Medical Legislation in 1946, 1946-03-11

Dr. John Torrey received a letter from George B. Schwabe, expressing appreciation for Torrey's short and to-the-point letter regarding the Wagoner-Dingell-Murray Bill. Schwabe stated that he is not in favor of the bill and supports S. 191 instead. Torrey also wrote to Schwabe, urging him to support the S. 191 Bill if it comes up for passage. Both letters express mutual respect and best wishes.
