Correspondence Between J. Frank Sneed and George B. Schwabe Regarding the Wagner-Murray-Dingell Bill, 1946-03-20
Mr. J. Frank Sneed and Edna J. Sneed wrote to Congressman George B. Schwabe expressing their disapproval of the Wagner-Murray-Dingell Bill, which proposed socialized medicine. Congressman Schwabe responded, stating his opposition to all forms of socialized medicine and recommending that the Sneeds contact their District Congressman to ascertain his views on the subject. Schwabe also mentioned that he believes the current system of healthcare for those who cannot afford it is working smoothly and that the Federal Government should not take on the responsibility of providing healthcare for the entire population.
