1946 Correspondence Regarding the Repeal of the Carry-Back Section of Tax Law, H.R. 5180 & H.R. 5232, 1946-02-04

The Oil Workers International Union Local #296 is requesting Representative George B. Schwabe to work towards repealing the carry-back section of the tax law, H.R. 5180 and H.R. 5232. They believe that this section benefits corporations at the expense of the American people and is causing labor troubles. Schwabe assures them that he will consider their request seriously when the bills come before Congress.
