Letter from Philomena Heffer Regarding Unemployment Compensation and Full Employment Bills, 1945, 1945-01-01 - 1946-12-31

The writer congratulates Mr. George Schwabe on the shelving of the unemployment compensation bill in Washington, D.C. They express their belief that the bill is unfair to service members and those on small salaries. They also express hope that the "full employment" bill will be shelved as well, as they believe it will breed idleness and ultimately destroy the United States. The writer appreciates Mr. Schwabe's courtesy in responding to their letters.
