Mrs. Irene Austin Beaty wrote a letter to Mr. George Schwabe C. inquiring about Bill 127 which provides a bonus for World War II veterans. Mr. Schwabe responded that the bill is pending before the Ways and Means Committee and no action has been taken yet. He assured Mrs. Beaty that he will personally consider the provisions of the bill when it is reported out. Mrs. Beaty expressed her support for the bill, stating that disabled soldiers should receive help and assistance in establishing themselves after the war.
