Correspondence Between Mr. Ernest Nazworthy and George B. Schwabe Regarding Veteran Legislation, 1946-04-25

A letter from a veterans' organization in Vinita, Oklahoma urges Congressman George B. Schwabe to use his influence to bring three bills concerning veteran benefits out of committee for consideration. The bills include provisions for adjusted service pay for World War II veterans, pensions for World War I veterans, and insurance credits for military service under the Social Security Act. Congressman Schwabe responds that he is not on the relevant committees, but he will consider the bills if they come before the House for consideration.
