Correspondence between Mrs. Alton A. McReynolds and George B. Schwabe regarding National Service Life Insurance and the Wagner-Murray-Dingell Bill, 1946-05-09
Mrs. Alton A. McReynolds writes to Congressman George B. Schwabe about two important issues: making National Service Life Insurance payments optional between lump sum and monthly payments, and opposing the Wagner-Murray-Dingell bill which she believes will lead to socialized medicine. Congressman Schwabe responds, expressing his support for the optional payment legislation and opposition to the medical bill. He assures Mrs. McReynolds that he will vote in line with her views on both issues.
