Correspondence Regarding Congressional Bills for Post-War Economic Protection and Wage Increase, 1945-10-08
The letter is from George B. Schwabe, M. C. to Mr. Edmund J. Mercier in response to Mercier's letter regarding two bills pending before Congress. Schwabe assures Mercier that he will carefully consider the bills when they are properly before Congress for attention. Schwabe explains that the bills are not currently before any committee of which he is a member, so there is little he can do until they are reported out by the respective committees. Schwabe expresses his good wishes and signs off as Mercier's friend.
