Correspondence Regarding H.R. 6407, the River and Harbors Bill, in 1946: A Letter from The Vandever Dry Goods Company to, 1946-05-29
The letter from George B. Schwabe to Gary Y. Vandever discusses the River and Harbors Bill (H.R. 6407) and reassures Vandever that the bill will not be voted on before June 6th. Schwabe mentions that there have been no objections to the bill except from Keystone, which they are not personally interested in. Vandever had previously asked Schwabe to help sell the bill to other congressmen, and Schwabe reassures him that he has been watching the situation carefully and believes the bill will pass in the House.
