Correspondence Regarding the Consideration of Arkansas River Development in the Rivers and Harbors Bill, 1946-05-29

The letter from George B. Schwabe to Charles Klein confirms that the Rivers and Harbors Bill, which includes the Arkansas River Development, will be considered in the House the following week. Schwabe assures Klein that no opposition is anticipated for the Arkansas feature of the bill and thanks him for his support. Klein's previous letter to Schwabe had expressed the importance of the Arkansas River development project and urged Schwabe to support it in Congress.
