Correspondence Between Congressman Schwabe and Phillips Petroleum Company Regarding Legislative Bills, 1946-04-26

The document contains a series of communications between Mr. Don Emery of Phillips Petroleum Company and Congressman George B. Schwabe regarding a bill, S. 7, and its companion bill, H. R. 5988. Emery and another individual, Mr. John Rogers, are urging Congressman Schwabe to support S. 7 with agreed amendments when it comes before the House for consideration. Congressman Schwabe expresses that he has not yet made up his mind on the matter and will consider the arguments before determining how to vote. Schwabe's secretary assures Emery and Rogers that their messages will be brought to his attention upon his return to Washington.
