Request for Employee Transfer Assistance: Correspondence Between E.G. Avery and George B. Schwabe, 1946, 1946-03-27

Mr. E.G. Avery is writing to Congressman George B. Schwabe requesting help in transferring his wife, Mrs. Essie Jane Avery, from the Navajo Indian Reservation in Crownpoint, New Mexico to either Oregon or Oklahoma. Mrs. Avery is not satisfied with her current position and is unable to apply for transfers on her own. She has the qualifications and experience to work at Indian Schools and is willing to go to either state. The letter emphasizes the need for help from Congressman Schwabe to facilitate the transfer.
