Correspondence Regarding the Transfer of Mr. Logan E. Dowell to Veterans Administration, Muskogee, 1945-04-12

George B. Schwabe, a member of the House of Representatives, is requesting the transfer of Mr. Logan E. Dowell from the Treasury Department to the Veterans Administration in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Mr. Schwabe explains that Mr. Dowell needs to be closer to his elderly parents in Tulsa and requests that the transfer be expedited. Mr. P. T. Lundquist, the Manager of the Veterans Administration, acknowledges the request and states that a formal request will be submitted once a clerical vacancy becomes available. Mr. Lundquist also expresses his appreciation for Mr. Schwabe's cooperation and assistance in the matter.
