Correspondence Regarding the Employment Status of Jack W. Ferguson Post-War, 1942-09-12
Mr. Jack W. Ferguson, a War Service appointee who entered the Navy in 1943, was unable to return to his previous position due to physical disabilities. Despite efforts by Congressman George B. Schwabe to secure employment for Mr. Ferguson, the Bureau of Prisons determined that he did not meet the physical fitness standards for the position. Mr. Ferguson was advised to seek employment elsewhere, as the Bureau could not offer him a job.
