1946 Letter to Congressman Schwabe Regarding Veteran Employment at the VA, 1946-05-23

The document is a letter written by Jack R. Adams, the Director of Public Relations at the Veterans Administration, to Congressman George B. Schwabe regarding the application of Mr. W. W. Frye for a job in the Public Relations Division at the new Regional Office in Oklahoma City. Adams informs Schwabe that work and organization in Oklahoma City is not yet ready for the appointment of a public relations man, but assures that Mr. Frye will be considered for the position when his qualifications are reviewed. Adams also mentions meeting Schwabe in the House dining room and expresses gratitude for their previous interaction.
