Appointment of Dr. J. Franklin Gorrell as Ophthalmic Examiner for Civil Aeronautics Administration in Tulsa, Oklahoma: A Correspondence Overview, 1946-06-24

Dr. J. Franklin Gorrell has been designated as an ophthalmic examiner for the Administrator of Civil Aeronautics for the Tulsa, Oklahoma area. Congressman George B. Schwabe facilitated this appointment by speaking to Dr. William R. Stovall, Director of the Medical Division of the Civil Aeronautics Administration. Dr. Gorrell's appointment was confirmed, and he will be taking over the work of the late Dr. Braswell. Schwabe expressed gratitude for the cooperation and assistance in expediting the appointment process.
