Correspondence Regarding Employment Opportunities in the Reconstruction Finance Corporation, 1945, 1945-08-31

John Ervin Matthews is seeking a position with the Reconstruction Finance Corporation and has reached out to George B. Schwabe, a member of Congress, for assistance. Matthews has experience in aircraft inspection and is interested in a position related to receiving and disposing of materials and surplus property. Schwabe suggests that Matthews contact Judge Trimble for help with the job application process, but is willing to assist him if needed. Matthews expresses his desire to remain in government service and specifically requests a transfer to the Reconstruction Finance Corporation in Tulsa.
