The Office of Price Administration is reluctantly closing the Tulsa District Office in order to cut expenses and prioritize better enforcement and prompt pricing for reconverting industries. This decision is part of a nationwide program of closing District Offices, not singling out Tulsa for special treatment. The inconvenience to business men in the Tulsa area was considered, but the decision was necessary due to lack of additional funds from Congress.
