Correspondence regarding Party Pledge to Indians: A Letter to Congressman Schwabe, 1945-03-29 - 1945-03-29
Mr. Chandler wrote a letter to Congressman George B. Schwabe expressing his opposition to a claims commission as a method of fulfilling the party's pledge to the Indians. He also mentioned his upcoming eye operation and plans to visit Washington after the operation. Miss Camille M. Gameau acknowledged receipt of Mr. Chandler's letter and informed him that Congressman Schwabe was temporarily out of Washington but would address his concerns upon his return.
