Concerns and Suggestions Regarding Fact Finding Boards, 1946-01-07 - 1946-01-07
The letter is in response to Congressman Schwabe's interest in fact finding boards proposed by President Truman. The writer believes that businesses should not be compelled to show their books to a fact finding committee and suggests that the Wagner Act be amended to require union contractual responsibility and impose unfair labor practices on both parties. The writer also believes that many people on strike would be willing to return to work if not afraid to do so, and calls for government protection for those who want to work.
