The Brown-Dunkin Company sent a telegram to Congressman George Schwabe urging him to support keeping sections six and seven of the Fair Labor Standards Act as they are and to reject a proposal that would make the retail industry exemption depend on the size and number of stores. Congressman Schwabe responded, expressing his skepticism of the bill and assuring the company that he will do what he can to protect business concerns and their rights.
