Establishment and Functioning of the Private Sector Task Force for Management Study of the Bureau of Indian Affairs, 1973-01-01
Title II establishes the Private Sector Task Force, consisting of a Chairman and appointed members, to conduct a management study of the Bureau of Indian Affairs. The Chairman has the power to appoint staff, contract with experts, and engage volunteer specialists. The Task Force is authorized to request resources from the Department of the Interior and must submit interim and final reports to Congress within twelve months. The Task Force... will cease to exist after submitting its final report and any vacancies will be filled in the same manner as the original appointment. An appropriation of up to $300,000 is authorized for the implementation of this title. See more
