William N. Burne, a Cheyenne Indian with a background in education and military service, is seeking the appointment as Principal teacher at the Cheyenne and Arapaho Indian School in Concho, Oklahoma. He believes that it is time for an Indian to be given the opportunity to prove their worth in the position. Burne is seeking support from Hon. L. M. Gensman in securing the appointment.
