Concerns and Investigations: A Letter to the U.S. Ambassador Regarding Flight Diversions, 1997-05-14
The letter is a response from Cintra S.A. de C.V. to Ambassador James R. Jones regarding the diversion of an Aero México flight to Dulles International Airport on January 4th. The letter explains that the passengers were not allowed to deplane due to a lack of available inspectors and a sterile transit lounge at Dulles. Cintra S.A. de C.V. will explore using United Airlines' transit lounge for future flight diversions and expresses a desire for more predictable handling by INS staff. The letter thanks the Ambassador for his concern and involvement in the matter.
