Advancing Indian Education: A Look at Bureau of Indian Affairs Programs, 1974-03-01
The Department of the Interior's Bureau of Indian Affairs aims to involve Indian communities in the development and management of education programs for Indian students. The Bureau operates schools on reservations and in remote areas, as well as provides special educational assistance to Indian children attending public schools.
