Correspondence Regarding the Relocation of Probate Attorney's Office in 1952, 1951-01-01 - 1951-12-31

The letter acknowledges a protest regarding the relocation of the Probate Attorney's office from Durant to Ardmore. The closure of the Durant office was due to a reduction in force, and the work was absorbed into the Ardmore office. The decision was made based on the needs of the Indian people and to serve them to the best advantage. The letter reassures that it was not the intention to close the Ardmore office and appreciates the Congressman's interest in the program of work.
