The Seminole Nation of Oklahoma is requesting increased funding for the Indian Action Team Program of the Bureau of Indian Affairs. They believe that the program is successful and vital for economic development and training within tribal communities. They have sent a letter to the Speaker of the House and the Chairman of the Subcommittee on Interior Appropriations to bring attention to the issue and request their support in securing more funding for the program.
