Neal A. McCaleb, a representative from District 81 in Oklahoma, expresses support for legislation introduced by Senator Bartlett and Congressman Risenhoover for the restoration of federal recognition for the Modoc, Peoria, Ottawa, and Wyandotte Tribes. McCaleb believes that this legislation will restore the tribes to their rightful status and provide them with benefits and protections enjoyed by other federally recognized tribes in Oklahoma.
