The Sac and Fox Tribe of Oklahoma has established a Housing Authority to provide new homes for their people. They have obtained approval to construct 100 dwellings and are facing challenges with paperwork and lack of staff at the Shawnee Agency. They are requesting additional personnel to ensure timely completion of the housing project. Congressman Carl Albert has acknowledged their request and is willing to help.
