Urgent Appeal for Budget Restoration: A Letter to Senator Robert S. Kerr, 1953-01-08

Harry J. W. Belvin is writing to Senator Robert S. Kerr requesting the restoration of funds for clerical hire in the Choctaw Tribe's budget for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1953. Belvin explains that the funds come from Choctaw Tribal funds, not government funds, and emphasizes the need for stenographic help to manage the pile of letters and documents related to Choctaw Tribal business.
