The Battle Between State and Federal Road Planning, 1948-01-01 - 1948-12-31
The state highway commission is facing challenges with the Public Roads Administration, which believes it knows best about which roads should be built and approved. The commission argues that local knowledge should be prioritized, as traffic count is not the only indicator of a road's importance.
