Dwayne Hughes, Programs Coordinator for Citizen Band Potawatomi Indians of Oklahoma, sent a resolution to Congressman James R. Jones opposing the State of Oklahoma's attempts to assume jurisdiction over Indian Country within the state. Congressman Jones acknowledged receipt of the resolution and assured Hughes that he would keep their concerns in mind when reviewing any recommendations from the State legislature.
