Support for Bill S. 2222: Extending Time for Indian Claims, 1980-02-25

John D. Schoeman expressed support for bill S. 2222 to extend the time for Indian tribes and individuals to file claims for 5 years. James R. Jones, a member of Congress, acknowledged the support and stated that the bill had been passed by the Senate and referred to the House of Representatives. Jones assured Schoeman that his views would be considered when the bill comes to a vote in the House. Jones thanked Schoeman for sharing his views and encouraged him to contact him again in the future.
