H.R. 9702 is a bill introduced in the House of Representatives to declare that certain public lands are held in trust by the United States for the Summit Lake Paiute Tribe. The bill donates 600 acres of Federal land to the Tribe, subject to an access right-of-way, and authorizes the Tribe to purchase an additional 40 acres of land owned by a non-Indian. The Indian Claims Commission is directed to consider the value of the donated land for set-off purposes in any claims award.
