A prominent Democrat will be a special guest at a rally sponsored by Davidson County Democrats. The rally will feature national party leaders and proceeds will be used for party efforts in the 1970 elections. Sen. Fred Harris and Sen. Edmund Muskie will also be speaking at events in Tennessee. Additionally, there are discussions about increasing membership dues for the Girl Scouts and discontinuing the uniform. LaDonna Harris, wife of Sen. Fred Harris, is involved in committee affairs at the Democratic National Committee.
