Oklahomans for Indian Opportunity has launched a new program for local self-determination, opening six new urban satellite centers in different parts of the state. Each center will offer training sessions, legal seminars, business development assistance, and youth projects. The Marland center, chosen as a satellite center, offers various programs for education development and business assistance. The Wright City and Tri-City centers focus on education, job development, and home management for the Indian population in their respective areas. The centers aim to reach the grassroots Indian community, provide employment opportunities, and utilize local resources effectively.
