Frank Belvin, a member of the National Council on Indian Opportunity, regarding the exclusion of Oklahoma Indians and Alaska natives from the Emergency Employment Act. Belvin requested support for an amendment to include these groups in the program. The Bureau of Indian Affairs responded, indicating that they will do what they can to help and enclosed a copy of the bill introduced by Congressman Reuss to expand the act.
