Carl Albert received a letter regarding the reduction in funding for the Title IV Indian Education Program. The Speaker wrote to the Chairman of the House Subcommittee on Interior Appropriations about this issue and attached his response for further information. The Chairman assured that the request for additional funds for the Indian education program will be considered during the next Congress session.
