Scope and Contents
The National Congress of American Indians has formed an Impact Survey Team to assess the impact of the recent occupation of the Bureau of Indian Affairs building and resultant destruction on Indian people and Indian affairs. The team is requesting the assistance of President Richard Nixon in securing the cooperation of appropriate federal officials and offices, including the Federal Task Force, and the availability of pertinent documents to assist the team in completing its objective.
