Mr. Cornell Tahdooahnippah from the National Indian Youth Council called for assistance after students took over an Indian school at Ft. Sill. Police have intervened and Mr. Tahdooahnippah is urging the Speaker to call the Commissioner of Indian Affairs to discuss the situation. Officials from the National Indian Youth Council and the American Indian Movement are on their way to Lawton. Contact information for further inquiries is provided.
