Scope and Contents
Mr. Robert L. Davison inquired about cost of living increases on veterans' pensions or disability compensation. Congress is considering a bill to increase pension benefits by ten percent, but there are currently no bills being considered for disability compensation increases. Congressman James R. Jones is hopeful that the pension increase will be enacted soon, but notes that it does not guarantee yearly cost of living increases. If further assistance is needed, Mr. Davison is encouraged to contact Congressman Jones.
