Carl Albert, a member of Congress, has informed Overton James that the Public Health Service's Division of Indian Health has reconsidered their decision to send Mr. Ellis to Oklahoma as the Executive Officer of the Oklahoma City Area Office. A vacancy announcement will be issued and all eligible applicants will be considered, with preference given to an Oklahoman who is qualified for the position and sympathetic towards Oklahoma Indians and their problems.
